Ted Torbeck is President and CEO of Cincinnati Bell Inc. He joined Cincinnati Bell in 2010 as President and General Manager of Cincinnati Bell Communications. In that role, he was responsible for all Cincinnati-based communications businesses, which include Cincinnati Bell Telephone and other wireline companies, Cincinnati Bell Wireless and CBTS.
Prior to joining Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Torbeck was Chief Executive Officer of the Freedom Group, a subsidiary of Cerberus Capital Management, a private equity firm. In this role, Mr. Torbeck acquired nine companies and integrated them into one entity. Mr. Torbeck worked more than 25 years for the General Electric Co. He served as the Vice President of Operations for GE Industrial Business, President and CEO of GE's Rail Services business as well as Vice President of Global Supply Chain for GE Aviation.
A native of Cincinnati, Mr. Torbeck earned his B.S. in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and his MBA at Xavier University. He is on the Board of Directors for United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the USA Regional Chamber Board. In addition, he serves on the Minority Business Accelerator Leadership Council for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and is a member of the Cincinnati Regional Business Committee with a focus on education. He is also the capital campaign co-chair for St. Aloysius.
Leigh Fox is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Cincinnati Bell Inc. He reports directly to Ted Torbeck, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell. As CFO, Mr. Fox is responsible for Cincinnati Bell's corporate accounting, finance, treasury, and tax functions, as well as investor relations, real estate, supply chain management and sourcing functions.
Mr. Fox has been with Cincinnati Bell since July of 2001, and has held a variety of finance and accounting positions during his tenure. Prior to his current position, Mr. Fox was Chief Administrative Officer with responsibility for the wireline, wireless and technology services financial operations as well as human resources, real estate, supply chain management and sourcing. As Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations during 2012 and 2013, he was responsible for long-term strategic planning, budgeting and strategic board planning.
From 2003 through 2012, Mr. Fox was Vice President of Finance at Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions (CBTS) responsible for finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, legal, and supply chain management. While in this role with our technology subsidiary, Mr. Fox was a key participant in all financial aspects of its managed services, professional services and reseller businesses, as well as the development of the Data Center business that was recently spun out of CBTS in an Initial Public Offering called CyrusOne.
Mr. Fox holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
David L. Heimbach is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Cincinnati Bell, Inc. He reports directly to Ted Torbeck, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell. As COO, Mr. Heimbach oversees day-to-day operations in the areas of network operations, information technology, call centers and field operations in addition to having overall responsibility for the company's performance in the consumer, small business and carrier markets.
Mr. Heimbach first joined Cincinnati Bell in June 1999 as a product manager for business markets and in 2000, joined Rhythms NetConnections, Inc., a national DSL provider, in Denver, Colorado where he held various roles in product development. He returned to Cincinnati Bell in June 2003 and has held a number of progressively responsible leadership roles in product management, sales, operations and general management in Cincinnati as well as in the company's regional markets including Dayton, Indianapolis, Louisville and Columbus. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Business & Carrier Markets from 2010 to 2013 before being named Chief Operations Officer of Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company, LLC in March 2013.
Mr. Heimbach holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the J Warren McClure School of Information and Telecommunications Systems at Ohio University where he currently serves as an advisory board member. He is also a board member for Camp Joy and ArtsWave and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Chris Wilson is Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Cincinnati Bell Inc. Responsible for all legal matters pertaining to the company, he reports directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Ted Torbeck.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Wilson served as associate general counsel and assistant corporate secretary for the company's Cincinnati-based operating subsidiaries. Before joining the in-house legal team at Cincinnati Bell, he was a partner at Frost Brown Todd LLP.
Mr. Wilson is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Cincinnati Bar Association.
Mr. Wilson earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Thomas More College and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Joshua Duckworth is Vice President, Investor Relations and Controller for Cincinnati Bell, Inc. His responsibilities include investor relations, accounting, internal controls and financial reporting. As the Chief Accounting Officer, he reports directly to Leigh Fox, Cincinnati Bell's Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Duckworth joined Cincinnati Bell in 2010 as the assistant corporate controller and most recently served as the assistant treasurer. Prior to joining Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Duckworth was a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Duckworth earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Eastern Kentucky University and is a certified public accountant.
