CB Home Run Integrates Mobile Phone and Wireless Internet For Improved Indoor Reception
Cincinnati Bell Wireless First Carrier in Cincinnati and Dayton to Launch Product Converging GSM and WiFi Networks

CINCINNATI and DAYTON, Ohio - June 18, 2007 - Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB) has the answer to improving mobile phone reception and call clarity at home or in the office with today's launch of CB Home Run. The CB Home Run service uses a converged mobile handset that seamlessly connects to the Cincinnati Bell Wireless GSM mobile phone network and a Wireless Internet (WiFi) network. Phone calls using the WiFi network gain better reception in problematic areas such as basements and elevators. As an added benefit, Cincinnati Bell Wireless customers can select CB Home Run service plans that provide unlimited calling minutes when originating mobile phone calls on the WiFi network-whether at their home, office or around town on Cincinnati Bell's 300-plus HotSpots.

"We've all periodically suffered from trying to use our wireless phones in areas with below-par reception-even on the CBW mobile network ranked #1 in our market. Thanks to WiFi, CB Home Run provides perfect call reception at the home or office," said Rodney Dir, chief operating officer for Cincinnati Bell. "In addition to quality reception, our CB Home Run service plans go one step further. Calls originating from a WiFi connection don't tap into the customer's bucket of minutes. They are essentially free. Additional savings are also available for those customers who bundle CB Home Run with Cincinnati Bell's ZoomTown high-speed Internet service."

Cincinnati Bell is the first carrier to launch this converged service in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton markets. CB Home Run uses technology referred to as UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access), which allows a single mobile phone number to work over both the GSM and WiFi networks.

All CB Home Run subscribers gain the benefit of outstanding reception while using the WiFi network to originate phone calls. Variations in pricing and features exist for CB Home Run customers in Greater Cincinnati and Greater Dayton:

Greater Cincinnati CB Home Run Service
For as low as $10 per month, subscribers with ZoomTown high-speed Internet receive unlimited calling when initiating calls from a WiFi network. In addition, Greater Cincinnati CB Home Run customers also gain the benefit of Unlimited Everyday Calling, which provides unlimited calls to and from any Cincinnati Bell wireless, home or business phone numbers when calls are made or received within the Cincinnati Bell Wireless local service area. While on the GSM network, CB Home Run customers deduct from their allotted monthly minutes only while placing or receiving calls during peak hours to or from non-Cincinnati Bell telephone numbers.

Greater Dayton CB Home Run Service
All subscribers receive unlimited calling when initiating calls from a WiFi network. WiFi calling is free of charge to customers on Dayton Zone rate plans and $10 on all other rate plans.

Installation of CB Home Run is simple. Requirements include a Cincinnati Bell Wireless Nokia 6086 handset, a high-speed Internet connection and a WiFi router.

Cincinnati Bell is Nokia's first global carrier to launch the Nokia 6086. The phone has three internal antennas: one for WiFi, one for the GSM mobile network and one for Bluetooth. Key handset features include a VGA camera with four times digital zoom, an MP3 player and FM radio, up to 2GB expandable memory to store music, photos and more, a speakerphone, MMS capability and video/voice recorders.
