Calling Services: Zero Transfer
Give callers the option to press "0" to exit your voice messaging greeting.
Description
You can prompt the caller to press "0" during your voice mail greeting and the call will be transferred to a local number you specify - even a wireless phone.
Example
A caller receives your voice messaging greeting on your office phone and hears the option to press "0" to reach you on a different number. When "0" is pressed, the call is trasferred to the local number you assigned.
To set up Zero Transfer
- Go to www.cincinnatibell.com/myaccount (Manage My Voice Mail) to set up Zero Transfer. If you do not have a My Account set up, this website will give you simple instructions on how to set it up.
- Click on Set Up.
- Click on Zero Transfer number.
- Enter your information.
- Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.
To disable Zero Transfer
- Go to www.cincinnatibell.com/myaccount (Manage My Voice Mail) to set up Zero Transfer. If you do not have a My Account set up, this website will give you simple instructions on how to set it up.
- Click on Set Up.
- Click on Zero Transfer number.
- Clear the transfer phone number in the phone number field.
- Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.
