Calling for a Cure.
As a proud supporter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, we would like to invite you to join us in the fight to end breast cancer.
Every three minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer*, so chances are you or someone you know has been affected by this disease. In fact, here at Cincinnati Bell, we have several survivors among our ranks – just one more reason we’re dedicated to finding a cure.
To start, we’d like to congratulate all the runners, participants and volunteers who helped make the Race for the Cure on September 9th a success. We partnered with Jones the Florist and gave out pink roses to over 1,500 runners.
Since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in partnership with Jewish Hospital and
St. Elizabeth Medical Center, we will be setting up mobile mammography vans in front of select stores. Why mammograms? Because mammograms are one of the best tools we have to fight cancer. After the age of 40, it’s recommended that you receive annual screenings. That’s why we’ve made it easy for you.
Plus, any woman who receives a screening at one of the mammography vans will also get a pink rose from Jones the Florist (while supplies last). Click zstreet.zoomtown.com for a complete list of dates and locations.
