Calling Services: Call Block

What is Call Block?

A Call Block lets you program up to 6 telephone numbers that you want to block from calling you. You can even block the last caller without knowing the telephone number.

How do I turn on Call Block or Set up a Call Block List?

  1. Pick up the receiver and listen for dial tone.
  2. Press *60 (Rotary users dial 1160).
  3. Press 0 to hear instructions on how to add, remove or review the numbers on your list, including the last caller. Your callers must be within the Cincinnati Bell Telephone service area to have the number blocked. (Mason, Lebanon, and Lawrenceberg numbers may also be blocked).
  4. If you are a new subscriber to Call Block or have not entered any numbers on your Call Block list, you must add a number to your list in order to activate the service.
  5. If you add your last caller to your Call Block list without knowing the telephone number, it may come up as a "private" entry. This indicates that your last caller used a Telephone Privacy service before calling you. A private entry can be added to your list but you will not hear the telephone number.
