Services for Hearing/Speech-Impaired Customers
Hearing-impaired or speech-impaired persons with TDD (Telecommunications Devices
for the Deaf) or TTY (Teletypewriter) can communicate via telephone with other
TDD/TTY users. With the TDD machine, the phone receiver fits into an acoustic
coupler on the typewriter-like device and permits the users to type messages
back and forth. The TTY machine is a single phone unit with a screen to read
incoming messages and a keyboard to type outbound messages.
Attention Customers With TDD/TTY Devices:
Please contact Cincinnati Bell at 513-565-4424 to submit application in
order for your TTY telephone service to be listed with 911 emergency.
