Calling Services: Call Waiting

What is Call Waiting?

Call Waiting lets you answer a second call when you're already on the telephone. A special tone notifies you of another caller when you're on the telephone. Once you hear the special Call Waiting tone, you can either put the first caller on hold and take the other call, alternate between the two callers, or end one call to take the other. If you have voice mail service, the second call will automatically go to your voice mailbox if you choose not to answer.
