Step-by-step instructions can be found in the Voice Messaging Help section. You'll find specific Help documents including; a quick start guide, complete setup, and additional options. Simply choose the number you were given to retrieve your messages from the dropdown menu and you're on your way.
Your mailbox number is the ten-digit telephone number on which your Voice Messaging service operates.
TopSomeone in your household may have changed it. Ask the members of your household if that is the case. If not, call the Help Desk at 513-565-2210 to have your password reset.
TopYou may call the Help Desk at 513-565-2210 to have your Voice Mail password reset. The Cincinnati Bell representative will verify your identity and can then reset your password.
TopOnce you erase a message and hang up there is no way to retrieve the message. However, if you have pressed and erased a message by mistake, remain on the line connected to Voice Mail. Replay the message and press to save it.
TopIf you have an S-310 Complete Connections box with the screening functionality turned on, you will always hear your own telephone number as the sender's number. Access your mailbox and press from the Main Menu to turn the header off. You will not hear the sender's number or the date and time in the message header.
TopAfter listening to a message, you can press to hear the date and time of the message.
TopCall Waiting works with Voice Messaging. If you are on the phone and you hear the Call Waiting tone, you can choose to answer the call or ignore the call and let it go to Voice Mail. If you choose to put the first call on hold to answer the second call and a third call comes in, the third caller will hear one ring before being forwarded to your mailbox.
TopYou can fix this problem in one of two ways: (1) leave a message in your Voice Mail box, then erase it, or (2) hang up your phone, then lift the receiver and dial *967, then hang up.
TopYou may order a service called a "busy mailbox" for your Distinctive Ring number. This service plays a busy signal for calls coming into the Distinctive Ring number when the line is busy.
TopIf your S-310 Complete Connections box is a unit 73 model or higher, call 1-877-654-6546 to program the box. Call the Help Desk at 513-565-2210 if you need further assistance. For further information, visit our Complete Connections box web page section.
TopThe S-310 Complete Connections box should be connected to the telephone that you use most often. If you are using a telephone not connected to the Complete Connections box, the Caller ID on Call Waiting feature will not operate on that extension. You may connect a Complete Connections box to each telephone on your telephone line if you wish to use the Caller ID on Call Waiting feature on each telephone extension.
TopIf you subscribe to Call Forwarding Variable or Anywhere Call Forwarding on the telephone line with Voice Messaging, you can choose to forward your calls straight to Voice Mail or to a different telephone number. When Call Forwarding Variable or Anywhere Call Forwarding is activated on your telephone line, you will not be able to answer incoming calls at that telephone line.
TopUnless you order a separate mailbox for your Distinctive Ring number, your Distinctive Ring telephone number will forward into the voice mailbox on your main telephone number.
TopMost customers can order a separate voice mailbox for their Distinctive Ring telephone number. If you have a separate mailbox for your Distinctive Ring number and you have an S-310 Complete Connections box, screening must be turned off in the box.
