Cincinnati Bell to Expand Presence in Downtown Cincinnati
Company to Lease Additional Office Space in Atrium II

CINCINNATI (June 9, 2014) - Cincinnati Bell President and CEO Ted Torbeck announced today that Cincinnati Bell has signed a letter of intent to lease approximately 220,000 square feet of office space in the Atrium II building at 221 East Fourth Street. The decision means the company will expand its presence in downtown Cincinnati and its headquarters will remain downtown for the foreseeable future.

"We are first and foremost a Cincinnati company," said Ted Torbeck, president and CEO of Cincinnati Bell. "We're proud of our 140-year Cincinnati heritage and even prouder that we are able to centralize more of our employees in one location while remaining in the City. This move reinforces our commitment to our hometown and enables us to play an even bigger role in making Cincinnati a more vibrant place to live, work and play."

Approximately 600 Cincinnati Bell employees who currently work outside the City will relocate to the Atrium II location over the next 12 to 18 months. Cincinnati Bell will also maintain its Seventh Street operations center downtown. The company has approximately 3,000 employees in Greater Cincinnati, with nearly 600 currently based downtown.

The company had been exploring a number of locations throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The Atrium II location was chosen because Cincinnati Bell already occupies several floors of the building. Its downtown location and incentives proposed by the City of Cincinnati were important factors in the company's decision. Cincinnati Bell expects to have the additional office space ready for occupancy in late 2015.
