How do I go completely paperless, no bill in the mail and no checks to write?

If you make changes to your Autopay settings, your changes will take effect for the billing cycle immediately following the current one. For example, if you change bank accounts and you enter your changes in January, your new information will take effect for the February cycle. January will continue to debit your original account and February will debit your new account.

How will I be notified when the Autopay payment has been made?

The Max Amount is a convenient safeguard for your Autopay account. When you set up Autopay, you will be asked to set the Max Amount to be paid each month on your bill. For instance, if you signed up for our Unlimited Phone Pak for $129.99 per month, you could set your Max Amount to $140.00. That way you know that the maximum amount to be withdrawn from your checking account will never exceed $140.00 each month.

How will the Autopay payment appear on my bank statement?

Insufficient funds are handled in the same manner as an overdraft for a written check. If you do not have an arrangement with your bank to cover any charges made to your account when you have insufficient funds, you will incur a returned check fee from Cincinnati Bell that will appear on your next bill.

In addition to the returned check fee, you may incur late charges if you do not make arrangements to pay your bill. To avoid any late charges or service interruption you can make a payment through our automated IVR or with a Cincinnati Bell customer service representative by calling 513-565-2210.

Your Scheduled Payment is the total amount due on your Cincinnati Bell statement. This is the amount that is scheduled to be withdrawn from your checking account on the due date.

If you are using BillPayer 2000 to pay your Cincinnati Bell bills, you certainly want to switch to Autopay! In addition to the convenience, Autopay is FREE while BillPayer 2000 charges $0.30 per month for each transaction.

Switching to Autopay is simple. First, you will need to contact BillPayer 2000 at 1-800-991-7771 and request the removal of the payee to Cincinnati Bell Telephone. They will guide you through the steps necessary to stop using BillPayer 2000 to pay your Cincinnati Bell bills. You can still keep using BillPayer 2000 to pay other accounts if you wish.

Once you have cancelled your BillPayer 2000 payment to Cincinnati Bell, simply sign up for Autopay! That's it.

What is the Max Amount and how is it used?

You can cancel a scheduled payment all the way up until the Due Date on your bill by logging into your My Cincinnati Bell account and clicking on the Billing & Payment header. From that drop down you will select Autopay Settings. From the Autopay screen you will click the Schedule Payment tab and at the bottom of this screen you will see an option to Cancel my Next Scheduled Payment Only. This will cancel just the next scheduled payment. If you select the Cancel Autopay option this will cancel all future scheduled payments. If you cancel Autopay you will need to mail your payment into manually make your payments each month in order to avoid late charges.

How does Autopay work?

No, if you cancel a payment, you will not receive an email confirmation. You will receive confirmation during the cancellation process. You are welcome and encouraged to print the confirmation page for your records.

Yes, you can cancel your recurring Autopayment. Please note that the change will not take effect until the following month's bill cycle.
