Yes. Vacation Rate Service is available for all Cincinnati Bell core products, including Internet service. Rather than totally disconnecting service, customers can use Vacation Service and: 
- Pay a reduced monthly rate
- Keep all equipment
- Resume normal service after vacation
Certain customers do not qualify for Vacation Service. For vacation rate to be added there is a one-time fee of $18.30, no matter how may products are going on Vacation Rate. Taxes and fees still apply. Certain additional restrictions may apply. Call, chat or visit to place your account on vacation service.

The $0.92/mo Utility Surcharge recovers costs associated with fulfilling the Call Before You Dig (811) service requests, local utility infrastructure and operations.

What is the Utility Surcharge?

The modem fee is a $8.99 charge customers pay to lease a Cincinnati Bell-owned modem from the company. By paying this lease fee and using a Cincinnati Bell modem, customers ensure that their modem receives important updates through the Cincinnati Bell network when needed and is maintained and swapped out if necessary by Cincinnati Bell at no cost to them.

When you first sign up for Internet service, you receive a promotional rate for service that typically lasts 12-24 months. After the promotional rate ends, all of our customers go to our standard rate for Internet service.
