Cincinnati Bell is lending its support to the United Way of Greater Cincinnati and Cincinnati Preschool Promise as those organizations work to ensure local children have school supplies for the 2017-18 school year. The event used the Cincinnati Bell Connector Streetcar, and innovation created in partnership with the city to provide safe and reliable public transportation.

The Preschool Promise is a new initiative designed to ensure every child in Cincinnati has access to quality preschool education. Cincinnati Bell is donating the use of the Cincinnati Bell Connector for the event.

"Cincinnati Bell is proud to support the United Way Day of Action to help Cincinnati Preschool Promise and Cincinnati Public Schools," said Shayne Beckett, manager of Community Support for Cincinnati Bell.

"Early education is extremely important and programs like this will have a tremendous impact on quality preschools in Cincinnati."
The Day of Action:  Stuff the Streetcar was a wild success:  We collected, and made kits of, more than 10,000 items for preschoolers and providers for the Cincinnati Preschool Promise! More than 1,000 volunteers from more than 75 companies participated!
