Stylish, Sleek Smartphone Delivers Premium Entertainment Experience

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB), today announced availability of the new Windows Phone 8X by HTC. Just in time for the holidays, the high-performance 4G Windows Phone 8X smartphone is available for $199.99 after mail-in rebate.

"Today's consumers use their smartphones for everything from checking the latest news and weather, to sharing photos and videos, to navigation and entertainment," said Mike Vanderwoude, senior vice president and general manager, Consumer Markets at Cincinnati Bell. "The Windows Phone 8X is one of the fastest phones available on Cincinnati Bell’s 4G wireless network, and its high level of customization delivers an unforgettable experience."

Powered by Windows Phone 8, the 8X offers advanced camera and video capabilities. The 8-megapixel, rear-facing camera has an illuminated lens for improved photo quality and low-light performance. In addition, the new extra-wide-angle lens on the front-facing camera enhances picture taking and video chatting. An HD camcorder captures video in 1080p.

The heart and soul of Windows Phone 8 is Live Tiles. Exclusive to Windows Phone, Live Tiles lets people personalize the Start screen by pinning their favorite people, apps, music, games, photos and more. Three sizes of Live Tiles and 20 bright color choices including cobalt, crimson and lime mean customers can personalize the Start screen to be unmistakably theirs.

In addition, Windows Phone is the only phone with a People Hub, where customers can find their contacts, start conversations (phone, text, IM, email), check out their friends’ latest posts and photos, get to Rooms and Groups, or even make a Skype call from a contact card.

The vivid 4.3-inch, high-definition, 720p display screen of the 8X is clear and colorful with exceptional clarity. Beats Audio™ delivers studio-quality sound with deeper bass, crisper vocals, and detailed high notes whether listening to music, watching a YouTube™ video, or playing a game.

The Windows Phone 8X measures 5.2 inches by 2.6 inches by 0.39 inches (132.1 mm by 66 mm by 9.9 mm) and weighs just 4.58 ounces, or 130 grams. Key features are noted below:
