Santa Holiday Hotline provides free, customized phone calls from the North Pole

CINCINNATI, Ohio - It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas with the return of Cincinnati Bell's popular Santa Holiday Hotline program. From now until Dec. 23, residents in Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana can schedule free, customized phone calls from Santa Claus to their children, friends, families and neighbors.

"Santa's Holiday Hotline is a unique way to enhance the magic and excitement of the holiday season for local residents young and old," said Jane Weiler, Director of Digital Marketing and e - Commerce at Cincinnati Bell. "You can't help but smile when you pick up the phone and hear Santa on the other end. It's our way of saying, 'Happy Holidays from your hometown communications provider.'"

Calls from Santa can be scheduled at www.cincinnatibell.com/holiday/. Recipient phone numbers must have a 513, 859, 937 or 812 area code. Users can personalize the call by choosing from one of four different messages and selecting the recipient's name from a list of popular boy and girl names. If a desired name is not available, the program provides a generic call option for each gender. For an additional touch of authenticity, Caller ID will show the call as coming from the North Pole.

The Cincinnati Bell Santa Holiday Hotline program has provided local residents with a direct line to the North Pole since 2006. Over the past seven years, more than 500,000 calls from Santa have been scheduled.

For more information on the Santa Holiday Hotline, go to www.cincinnatibell.com/holiday/. Calls must be scheduled by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 23. No calls will be delivered after 9 p.m. on Dec. 24.
